Cookies and storage
A factual description of how this build stores, and does not store, information in your browser.
1. Cookies and storage set by this site
The pages and script of showerjuvilo.com set no cookies. They do not use sessionStorage, IndexedDB or any other browser storage, with one exception: if you choose "Understood, remember my choice" on the storage notice, a single localStorage entry named sj-storage-notice with the fixed value dismissed is written so that the notice does not reappear on later visits. It contains no identifier, no date and nothing about you, and it is read only by this site's own script. If you close the notice without saving, nothing is written at all. You can remove the entry at any time through your browser's site-data or storage settings, after which the notice appears again.
No analytics, advertising, social-media or A/B-testing scripts are included, so there are no third-party cookies from such vendors to list.
2. Selections kept in memory
Filter choices in the archive, the record shown in the results detail panel and any text in the correction draft tool exist only in the current page's memory. Reloading or leaving the page discards them. Nothing else is remembered between visits, and no other preference is saved; the only value kept is the optional storage-notice entry described in section 1.
3. Hosting-related mechanisms
Depending on the hosting provider chosen at launch, the server or its content-delivery layer may set strictly technical cookies or use equivalent mechanisms for load balancing or security. Whether this happens, and what the mechanism is, depends on the provider, not on the site's code. It is listed as an item to confirm in the developer handover and must be described here accurately once the hosting configuration is known.
5. If tools are added later
Should analytics, advertising or any other non-essential tool be added in future, the following would be required first: a consent mechanism that prevents the tool from loading until an appropriate choice is made; reject and manage options as easy to use as accept; a description on this page that matches the exact inventory of tools; and a revised privacy notice. Re-labelling the present information notice as a consent banner without those elements would not make the deployment compliant.
